STREET PREACHER “YouTube”CHALLENGE

YouTube is not the cause, but it certainly is a vehicle used by overly zealous street preachers to promote themselves and their ministries (legit or not).

The excuse that street preachers hide behind for the use of the camera is safety.  OK.  I’ll buy into that.   But only IF.  IF you will stop posting even the most mundane preaching events on a daily, weekly, or other regular basis.  If you use it for safety, fine, but why do you have to share every street sermon on the web?  Are you trying to prove some sort of Street Cred with other street preachers?  Is publishing your street preaching events your way of building up your own reputation and ego?

The notoriety that YouTube gives street preachers has led to many extremes among those doing ministry on the street; whether legit or not.  Most YouTube videos I have watched have not  been very informative and prove to be a waste of my viewing time.

May I remind all street preachers everywhere, Jesus Christ said,”… do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.”

Ask yourself, would you be preaching without the benefits of YouTube and other social media?

About Bro. Ray McIntire

EZEKIEL 3 is extremely salty and has not lost any savor found in the AV1611 Holy Bible. If you are looking for compromise, this site is not for you! This site's objective is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and to destroy false doctrines and expose false teachers. EZEKIEL3 makes no apologies to anyone who opposes the Gospel of Jesus Christ, "Christian" or otherwise. Deal with it!

I did ask myself. And yes I would be teaching without the benefits of blogging and other social media. Ezekiel3 began as a desk top publication called “Sounding The Trumpet”. Nothing wrong with extreme Bible believing. Quote Bro. Ray is an ongoing post that points out heresy and encourages others to speak up and out about foolishness being done in the name of Christ. I only post my real name on this blog to give it validity. Your comment has little to no validity because you are hiding behind a foolish fictional name.

YOU CAN QUOTE BRO. RAY ON THIS! You are cowardly and will not even reveal who the person is behind your remarks!

The excuse that bloggers hide behind for the use of the medium is safety. OK. I’ll buy into that. But only IF. IF you will stop posting even the most mundane blog posts on a daily, weekly, or other regular basis. If you use it for safety, fine, but why do you have to share every inane thought on the web? Are you trying to prove some sort of KJV Cred with other fundamentalists? Is publishing “Quote Bro. Ray on This” your way of building up your own reputation and ego?

The notoriety that blogging gives KJV defenders has led to many extremes among those doing theology on the internet; whether legit or not. Most blog posts I have read have not been very informative and prove to be a waste of my reading time.

Good post brother! Very few brothers bring attention to this group of people looking for YouTube fame.
