SCRIPTURES

Unlike many, I believe the AV1611 not only contains the scriptures, but is the scriptures for all English-speaking people.  I believe the AV1611 is inerrant and infallible as much as the originals were when the words of God were given to holy men of God, who spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost and wrote them down.

I believe that any attempt by anyone to correct or aid the AV1611 with any newer translation is blasphemy of God’s words. I believe that any attempt by anyone to correct the AV1611 text with Greek or Hebrew lexicons is blasphemy of God’s words.  I believe the Old Testament in the AV1611 is scripture in every respect, just as the copies of the originals that our Lord Jesus Christ held, quoted and read.

Again, make no mistake, I believe the AV1611 is scripture just as much as the originals were when they were penned by New Testament and Old Testament writers.  I  believe there will never be another translation into the English language before our Lord Jesus Christ comes back to earth and rules from Jerusalem.  I believe the AV1611 Holy Bible translators were led by the Holy Ghost, and the AV1611 Holy Bible is the pure words of God translated  into the English lanquage.  I believe that all other translations since the AV1611 are an evil intentional attack on the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and are perversions of the true scriptures.  All who try to correct the AV1611 with Greek and Hebrew are enemies of the WORD  and words of God.   AMEN and AMEN!!                Bro. God gives us two ears and two eyes, but only one tongue. We should therefore see and hear more than we speak, for we cannot recover our words.

Why do you always insult people then use the word of God to do it. You called a brother a fool. What is up with that? Does it make you feel better?

You said in your statement above: “I believe the AV1611 Holy Bible is inspired by the Holy Ghost…” – if that is truly believed, a believer has NO BUSINESS changing the words God gave; we should learn the actual words He gave: Mareuile not that I faide unto thee, ye muft be borne againe.” “He that beleeueth on him, is not condemned: but hee that beleeueth not, is condemned already, becaufe hee hath not beleeued in the Name of the onely begotten Sonne of God.” The above verses are quotes from the AV 1611. If your verses are not using the very words that God gave to the translators in 1611, then you are using a corrected Bible. We should not change one bit of what God has given to us! I don’t know why so many ignorant brethren clam to believe in the inspiration of the AV 1611, but then use a corrected 1789 version of it. I hope that you will indeed stand by your statement and truly use the AV 1611.

Dear Steve: The minor editorial/publishing issues you spoke of are addressed at a website, http://www.biblebelievers.com. There you will find perversions of scripture you mentioned compared beside of the AV1611 Bible. If you look, which you probably won’t, you will find that essential doctrine is changed when one leaves the AV1611. I contend that your problem with my statements concernint God’s words is not with me, but rather with GOD’S BOOK (AV1611 Bible). I have plenty of posts to deal with your unbelief. You are not a Bible believer. You my man are Bible perverter. I’m done with you. Selah. Bro. Ray

Weak answer… I was hoping for more. But I see I hit a soft spot. So guess no one should be preaching or teaching. After all we’re all sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God. I’ve been fortunate to have humble pastors and teachers to admit, they still sin and it’s a daily struggle. You do better answering. Now tell me, where does it say with Vegas Neon Signs “Jesus detest Christian Rock and Metal, and music genres of choice are condemnable.”?

Okay, thank you for clarifying. One other question: By “perfectly equal” do you mean “a perfect translation”? Because there is no way that the AV1611 is “perfectly equal” to the Scriptures Jesus himself used and read, since the AV1611 is in English, and the original manuscripts of the Scriptures (Old Testament) that Jesus read were in Hebrew/Aramaic.

If by “perfectly equal” you meant “a perfect translation,” then, with all due respect, you are also wrong on that point. None of the translations of the Bible into English are perfect (including the AV1611, NKJV, NIV, NASB, Tyndale/Wycliffe [both of which predate 1611, by the way], NLT, ESV, etc, etc). They certainly all were published after years of meticulous studying of the manuscripts by the scholars and theologians who did the translating, and the errors contained in them are often minuscule editing issues caused by missing or unclear pieces of texts. The only truly perfect translations of the Bible would be the original Hebrew/Aramaic/Greek manuscripts.

None of these minor editorial/publishing issues take away from the fact that the Bible is God-breathed, inerrant, and useful for encouraging, rebuking, and teaching. But to claim that one particular English translation is “inerrant and infallible” is just incorrect. I am not attempting to condemn, as only God has the power to condemn our souls, but rather, just providing some loving advice as a fellow follower of Christ. I am not going to call you any names, despite the fact that you seem to have indirectly called me a “fool,” but am responding to you in a civil manner, pointing out where I (and many others) would strongly disagree with you. I hope that even if you and I may disagree, you may see some of the validity in the criticisms I have made.
    God Bless,
    Steve H

George: Jesus did not let the unrepentant sinners run the church service. Bro. Ray

  13. George J. says:

Can you answer directly or do you run circles with scriptures and hide in fear for being brought to light? You got to remember the false prophets and false teachers during Jesus’s time here, I’m mentioning the Pharisees, which take place in Matthew 23. Matthew 23 is also a warning against hypocrisy.
Now riddle me this. I had friends attend a local Christian Rock concert, and where then judged (now take into account Matthew 7 which speaks of judging others, but I want accounted to verses 1 and 5.) on their choice of music they performed. I’ve played classically hymns and other worships songs, I also play Jazz. But I also enjoy rock and metal music. I think you forget to take into account that those performing are human also, and have their own struggles with sin and have their own way relaying there message of faith. Remember Jesus spent time with prostitutes teaching them of the Word of God and died with thieves.
Now please point out and notify where it explicitly states “Jesus detest Christian Rock and Metal music, and it will damn (I can use that word right? It is used in the KJV) them to Hell (is this word fine too?).”
God Speed and thank you for the time.

Dear Steve H.: I am saying that the AV1611 is perfectly equal to the Scriptures that Jesus read and quoted.

  15. Sola Reforma says:

If the 1611 AV is good enough for Paul, it ought to be good enough for anyone.

  16. Aaron P. says:

Stephen isn’t a fool, if that is what you’re insinuating.
Please answer him, he’s just curious…

  17. Steve H says:

You yourself wrote: “I believe the Old Testament in the AV1611 is scripture in every respect, just as the copies Jesus Christ quoted and read.”

I am just trying to understand what you meant by that. Are you suggesting that the AV1611 Old Testaments are the exact Scriptures that Jesus read and quoted? Or that they are perfectly equal to the Scriptures that Jesus read and quoted? That seems to be what you are saying, I am just asking that you would clarify what you mean by that quote.

  18. admin says:

Dear Steve: All I can say to you is, Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. Proverbs 26:4 and then on the other hand, Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit. Proverbs 26:5 Bro. Ray

  19. Steve H says:

First of all, it’s “Jerusalem” not “Jerusaleum.” Second, are you suggesting that “Jesus Christ quoted and read” copies of the AV1611’s Old Testament? Or am I misinterpreting you? You do realize that the AV1611 Bible was written 1600 years after Christ lived, right?
