We are being deceived by a seemingly obvious, yet mostly unnoticed attack on the church today. This attack not only serves to subvert the faith of the Christian Bible believer, it also creates a stumbling block to evangelism. This attack is not being carried out by those on the outside of the blood bought church of Jesus Christ; it is being carried out by those who have been given oversight of the flock.
Often, nationally known and local television and radio preachers while referring to their “special knowledge” of the Hebrew and Greek languages, attempt to explain even the simplest words of the King James Bible, or even the “modern perversion” of the scripture they are using. Many times these “seemingly enlightened preachers” will refer to an original Greek or Hebrew word that he says was not translated correctly by the AV1611 translators, and then proceed with a “mysterious definition” to introduce a false doctrine. It is not uncommon to hear phrases like ” a better word would be”, or “what the word really means is..”, or “the translators could have done a better job”. This Greek and Hebrew “double speak” has even made its way into our local churches, Baptist, and otherwise.
Men like D.L. Moody and other great men of God did not spend their precious time and energy acting as Baptist popes , undermining and trying to correct the work of the AV1611 translators. Why then should today’s preacher spend his time trying to correct the proven AV1611 Bible?
Ask yourself, where did these modern Greek and Hebrew “scholars” come up with their “superior knowledge” of the ancient languages? Could they be getting their special information from corrupt lexicons or commentaries that are available to everyone? Or perhaps they received their education from a mail order course. Ask yourself where did they study, or better yet ask these “modern preachers” themselves about where they received their special education. Also ask the “modern preachers how much studying it took to be “authorized” to correct the “Authorized Version” which commonly known as the King James Holy Bible?!

Wonderful post brother Ray! This issue, among many others has led to major exodus from a real basic and fundamental basis for truth. It’s not common for a preacher to view the scriptures as a Bible Believer does because they’re being taught to undermine them.
