Part A – Romans Chapter 1 Verses 1thru 7

 Called To Be A Saint

“Rom. 1:1,6    “Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ,  called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: Among whom are ye also called of Jesus Christ: To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, CALLED TO BE SAINTS: Grace to  you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

The apostle Paul not only referred to his call to apostleship in verse one, but he also brought to our attention in verses six and seven that we have a  calling.  The calling is  to be saints.  Being a saint is a call to separation.  Separation from the world is only part of it.  We are to be separated to something also.

There is not much talk in the modern Laodicean church these days about being separated from the world or anything else.  Instead today’s pulpiteers exhibit a careless attitude, thus inviting the world and it’s ways into the church via, rock and rap mu-SICK, hairstyles, dress or lack thereof and etc!

As a result of not  separating from anything, those in the modern churches have no desire or power to be separated to anything.  The saint of the Living God after separating him or herself from the world will need to be separated to something, and may I suggest a few Biblical activities to separate your self to.

Separate yourself to studying and rightly dividing the word of the living God.  To do this may I suggest you get a perfect inerrant  copy of God’s words (AV1611 of course) and if you cannot wrap your mind around this concept; you will need to study to find out where God’s words are that he commanded you to study .  As a result you will not find a need to be ashamed.

2Tim. 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1Tim. 3:16,17 All scripture is given by the inspiration of God…That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Next, separate yourself to prayer.  If you do not know how to pray, stay in God’s words and on your knees.  You will get it.

1Thess. 5: 16,17,18  Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the WILL OF GOD in Christ Jesus CONCERNING YOU.

Then, tell someone else what God did for you at the cross, and after that tell someone else, then another and another until God takes you home to heaven.  Be a faithful witness of the death, burial, resurrection of Jesus Christ the Son of God  and He will give you more opportunities to witness .

2Cor. 5:10, 11 For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ…Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men…

You are called to be a saint; study, pray, witness.  BE ONE.

About Bro. Ray McIntire

EZEKIEL 3 is extremely salty and has not lost any savor found in the AV1611 Holy Bible. If you are looking for compromise, this site is not for you! This site's objective is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and to destroy false doctrines and expose false teachers. EZEKIEL3 makes no apologies to anyone who opposes the Gospel of Jesus Christ, "Christian" or otherwise. Deal with it!
