ONE WORD IGNORED; CAUSES BIG TROUBLE!
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matt. 4:4
Jesus Christ was rebuking Satan in this verse and it was recorded and written down for all time by the Holy Ghost for your admonition. We should pay attention to what the Lord said just because he said it. Plus we were given an example in Numbers 20: 8-13 about what could happen if you do not live by every word of God.
Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink. And Moses took the rod from before the Lord, as he commanded him. And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock? And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also. And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them. This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the Lord, and he was sanctified in them.
There you have it in black and white and blue! Straight out of THE BOOK. God told Moses to speak and he smote, thus he and the children of Israel went in circles for the next 40 years without reaching their destination. Look at what has happened to modern Christianity in these last days, all because pastors they have taken away from the words of the living God with “new bible perversions”.
Modern Christianity; as it stands and falls and tries desperately to stand again ;has messed with God’s BOOK and he is messing with their minds. Professing Christians will follow idiots like Todd Bentley; a false prophet and fake healer; that even the town drunk would know better than to follow.
Leaving off the BOOK (AV1611) has cause many to go whoring after strange fire from an alter (altar) that is not God’s altar.
