FEAR GOD – Part 1

I FEAR THAT I DO NOT FEAR GOD!

I did not start this post in my most usual way; with a Scripture reference.  There are so, so many concerning fearing God, one hardly knows where to start.  But start we will.  We will start with this post,  and God willing we will make this a series  of posts until the Lord God of the AV1611 Holy Bible thinks we have the fear of God in our hearts.  Amen?  Amen.

To enable you to study ahead on this very important subject, let me suggest that you go to; http://www.christnotes.org/; an online concordance of the Bible and enter fear God  in the search engine.  Immediately you will see how important it is to fear God by the sheer number of times fear God is referenced in the Scriptures.  If God says it more than once, there must be a very good  reason for us to fear God.

My dear friend Dwane Karr; often contributing his writings to  Ezekiel3; who went to be with the Lord about four weeks ago was adamant about fearing God no matter how close of a walk we think we have with the Lord.  He believed that the lack of a fear of the Lord, was closely knit to this fact;  the modern professing Christian does not recognize the final authority of God is his BOOK (AV1611 of course).

With that said, I am going to pause for now and study the fear of God myself and pray for the fear of God in my life to abound and balance itself with my love for God.  May  both increase.  Till next time,  study to show thyself approved unto God!

About Bro. Ray McIntire

EZEKIEL 3 is extremely salty and has not lost any savor found in the AV1611 Holy Bible. If you are looking for compromise, this site is not for you! This site's objective is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and to destroy false doctrines and expose false teachers. EZEKIEL3 makes no apologies to anyone who opposes the Gospel of Jesus Christ, "Christian" or otherwise. Deal with it!

Please do think I am writing again just to pound on you. I appreciate your sharing thoughts even when I disagree. But did you notice that Jehovah has three syllables and Yaweh has only two. Or did you notice that that Jesus has only two syllables and Yashua has three. Seems backwards doesn’t it? Just thinking. I think Yashual and Yaweh are imposters trying to take the glory from the one who died on the cross. JESUS.

Betty, you said, “If we could read Hebrew or Greek we would really be on track but I can’t so the KJ works for me.” Those are your words not mine, let’s examine what you just said. OK, you proclaim that you cannot read Hebrew and Greek so how do you know Hebrew and Greek would get you on track? Somehow you know that the name of the Son of God is pronounced differently in Hebrew than it is in English. How, you cannot speak nor read Hebrew and Greek, yet you seem to indicate that we have lost something in the translation to English. As for your reasoning do you suppose that John should be pronounced Yawn? OR Jerusalem should be pronounced Yarusalem? Makes just about as much sense doesn’t it? Should Jerica be Yerico?

Now think about this. the Name Jesus was given to his mother by the angel of God and recorded as JESUS (all capital letters). Do you not think that maybe, just maayyybee the most important name of all time to which every name shall bow is a TRANSLITERATION instead of a translation. Betty, think about this, if you moved as a missionary to Israel, would your name be Yetty? I hope not. Just asking. Hope this helps. If you can, get Gail Riplinger’s book In Awe of Thy Word. You can order this book on line. Should be a great help to you. Love you sista.

Was reading the Yashua post. I think it’s spelled wrong. In English which we read it is Jesus. In the original Hebrew it is spelled in Hebrew and in that language it is yashua (Jesus) (I know this is the wrong spelling. But if you were to go to Isreal the Hebrew for Jesus is that pronunciation to believing Jews because it is their language. Just like in Mexico it is sounded as Hesus (Jesus). The KJ version was written in England in English, but not the whole world speaks English. We should always speak of Jesus as it is written in English because that is the language we speak. I do not think we have to make a big deal out of it. The KJ was translated from the original scriptures from another language and before we get all worked up maybe we should understand that we are not the only ones on the planet. Getting the Gospel message out is the most important. We are not saved by one word we are saved by the grace of God through Jesus who gave His life for us. By grace we are saved not by works. If we could read Hebrew or Greek we would really be on track but I can’t so the KJ works for me.
