Living By Faith

For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.  Ezra 8:22

The above verse is a genuine example of living by faith.

Why do modern faith healers and Christian celebrities have body guards and professional security around their ministries and homes?  Where’s the faith, man, where’s the faith?  I believe I know:  but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.

The only faith these rascals have,  is faith in their followers stupidity.   That’s right, their faith is not based in the words of God or faith in God.  Their faith is based solely in your ignorance of God’s words! 

Perhaps you want to defend your favorite heretics: Paul Crouch, Benny Hinn, Gloria and Kenneth Copeland, staff at TBN and INSP, the Pope, and the list could go on and on and on and on.  Did you ever see the LAST apostle Paul have any body guards?  How about the other apostles?  If they had body guards, those body guards failed miserably, because they all wound up being killed.  Jesus Christ the author and finisher of our faith had no body guards and his life was in danger from day one (Matt. 2:13-18, Luke 4:29, John 8:59 just to name a few).  Selah
