I’m aware that souls from different walks of life and denominations are disturbed by some if not all of my posts on this blog. If I were to venture a guess, the posts that most have a quarrel with are the posts that address the Authorized 1611 Bible (KJV) as the words of God. Charismatics, Pentecostals, all Protestants, JW’s, Mormons, and of course Roman Catholics are invited to listen in as I now address my fellow Independent Fundamental Baptist brethren concerning the words of God and their willingness to declare what they believe concerning this matter.
Fundamental Baptists preachers distress and amuse me at the same time when they are faced with questions concerning God’s words. The following are some questions asked, accompanied by my answers that a large number of Fundamental Baptist preachers hedge on every time they are confronted with these same questions.
Question 1: Do you have an inerrant, infallible Bible? Answer: YES, YES, YES, my 1611 Authorized King James Bible. Question 2: Where can I get an infallible, inerrant, Bible? Answer: Anywhere the King James 1611 Authorized Bible is sold. Question 3: Do you believe there is an inerrant, infallible Bible? Answer: Yes, the Authorized Version first published in 1611 AD. Question 4: Do you believe the AV1611 Bible has ever jot and title of the originals preserved within the AV1611. Answer: Yes, every jot and title is preserved by punctuation, capitalization, and the words in italics.
See, that series of questions were not hard to answer if one KNOWS what they believe. But the fearful and unbelieving manpleasers will get a lump of leaven in their throat every time they busy themselves with side stepping what they believe or do not believe for filthy lucre’s sake!
