For there is no respect of persons with God. Romans 2:11
Verse eleven in our text, serves as a pretext for the “false prosperity gospel” being batted about in ecumenical circles today. I say it serves as a pretext, because the “blab it and grab it crowd” use the verse out of context to convince the Bible ignorant multitudes. They hope you will take their word over what God the Holy Ghost had to say. They hope you will not read THE BOOK for yourself and thus line their pockets. But let’s look at the verses that precede verse eleven to understand what the Lord is saying to the multitudes.
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God. Romans 2:5-11
This verse in no way connected with sowing a seed into some millionaire preachers ministry. This verse is simply and plainly telling us that all those who reject Jesus Christ will receive the same damnation.
