Don’t Believe Everything You Hear

My late father advised me, “To believe little of what I heard, and only half of what I saw”.  That was great advice from a factory worker with 5th grade education.  We would all do well to heed this wise man’s advice in these last days, especially about “spiritual matters”.   The honorable Bereans spoke of in the Book of Acts mirrored my dad’s advice by searching the Scriptures to confirm that what the apostles said was true.  We should do so with all preachers today.

All false teaching and heresy can only take root when believers do not heed the following commandments:   Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  2 Timothy Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.  John 5

Let’s examine the above verses.  We are commanded to STUDY.  We must have a method to study.  Here in is God’s method:  RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH.

Where is the word of truth?  It is the SCRIPTURES in which lies ETERNAL LIFE and the Way, the truth, and the Life: JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR.

About Bro. Ray McIntire

EZEKIEL 3 is extremely salty and has not lost any savor found in the AV1611 Holy Bible. If you are looking for compromise, this site is not for you! This site's objective is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and to destroy false doctrines and expose false teachers. EZEKIEL3 makes no apologies to anyone who opposes the Gospel of Jesus Christ, "Christian" or otherwise. Deal with it!
