Campbellites (Church of Christ) – Why I Cannot Join Them

Water Dogs and Mud Puppies

I cannot join the Campbellites, because scripture pulls the plug on their baptistery of deceit!  Campbellites put forth good for evil and light for darkness.  Most every time the Bible says baptism the Campbellite assumes it is water and every time the Bible says water the Campbellite assumes the scripture means baptism.  Water Dogs (Campbellites) act on behalf of hell’s minions to deceive sinners into believing in a works salvation that is eerily similar to the Roman Catholic Church.  One might say that the Church of Christ demonization is “catholic lite”.  Both cults substitute water for the blood of Jesus Christ for salvation, then try to keep their counterfeit Christianity by the mass or “mass lite”.

Strangely enough both the Campbellites and the current pope of Roman claim to oversee the one and only Christian church.  Even though they part company around the claim to be the one true church, these two ominous cults have several heresies in common. Catholics and Campbellites agree on the following departures from scripture:

1. Both believe a Christian can lose their salvation after Jesus gives it to them.  2. All sinners must be saved by baptism (sprinkling or submersion).  3. No Christian can be sure they are saved and must die to find out for sure.  4. Both believe Jesus will not come back and reign from Jerusalem.  5. Both believe Israel is NEVER going to be restored literally and politically to her own land.

Campbellites have much in common with other cults and heretics in this series, “Why I Cannot Join Them”.   And clearly I cannot join them because I read and believe the AV1611 KJB is the very words of God himself about his Son Jesus Christ and his plan of salvation.

About Bro. Ray McIntire

EZEKIEL 3 is extremely salty and has not lost any savor found in the AV1611 Holy Bible. If you are looking for compromise, this site is not for you! Hello, are you not at home, or just stumped? Has the truth confounded your false doctrine? Where are you at?

  2. David Barnes says:

What is more real than eternity and where you will spend it?

  3. Terry Thacker says:

Mr Anonymous, Peter never founded anything. You sound like a Catholic. The word you are looking for is “instituted” He set in motion what was blood bought already by Jesus death on the cross. He used the keys that Christ gave him and he stood on the “rock” of Christ Mat 16:18 and preached Christ, not himself.

  4. Terry Thacker says:

And you don’t see water were there clearly is water. Would you happen to be schizophrenic? They are afraid of water and won’t go near it. <3

  5. Someone Better says:

You people all scare me… You are all debating over delusions and make-believe friends… Get out and do something real in the world and stop this madness

  6. David Barnes says:

This Thursday at 8 PM EST the conversion of Cornelius will be discussed, and call all of you pseudo “christian” friends to join in. Please be polite, as will we.

  7. David Barnes says:

Again, you have not rightly handled the word of God. I gave you scripture to show that he could have been baptized, and you dismiss it.
Now tell me why you are using a man who was born and died under the law of Moses, as a reason that baptism is not required for those who live or have lived under the law of Christ!

  8. Bro. Ray McIntire says:

Are you local? Can we do this on a Sunday evening at your church? Can I bring some real Christians with me and you match that number of debaters? Can this be videotaped and put on YouTube for the world to be warned of your false damnable doctrine?

  10. Bro. Ray McIntire says:

You ask,”How can you determine through scripture that the thief was not baptized?” solo Scripture my dear son. Bible, Bible, Bible, BIBLE!!
We know he was on a cross, guarded by Roman soldiers who nailed him there, and his legs were broken before he came off a cross. No record of water being at the place of crucifixion, only vinegar. You water dogs are going to wind up hurting yourself in this empty pond of deceit your digging.

  11. David Barnes says:

” Paul did not count water baptism as necessary for eternal life.” Really, these are vss that Paul penned, and he is VERY clear that Baptism is essential for salvation.

    1 Corinthians 15:1-4
    1 Corinthians 1:12-17
    Galatians 3:27
    Romans 6:1-4
    2 Thessalonians 1:8

Will you ever respond to my question, concerning a DEBATE with a Christian concerning the topic of the essentiality of water baptism for the remission of sins and salvation into the church?

  12. David Barnes says:

Mr. Anonymous, what was the thief’s first name? Can you tell me if he was even married? These are questions that can never be answered on this side of eternity, and neither can you affirm if he was ever baptized. Tell me sir in Matthew 3 or Luke 7:29 do you see any names listed of those who were baptized? How can you determine through scripture that the thief was not baptized?

  13. David Barnes says:

You have a tendency of avoiding my question for debate, yet you want me to read your writings or those who also are false teachers. I ask you again, are you willing to give a defense for your teaching via debate, or will you just ignore the question again?

  14. Bro. Ray McIntire says:

You my dear son, are water logged.

  15. Bro. Ray McIntire says:

Yes, it is the revelation given to Paul by Jesus Christ himself. Paul did not count water baptism as necessary for eternal life. Read my post listed at the top of my site tiled Dispensations – Getting Started.

  16. Bro. Ray McIntire says:

I do not follow wated dogs and mud puppies. I follow Jesus Christ and depend on him and his finished work on the cross of Calvary. May I suggest that you google Bible Baptist Book Store in FL and purchase a small booklet on the cult calling itself the Church of Christ. Me thinks you are in it up to your neck. Bro. Ray

  17. Bro. Ray McIntire says:

And you still cant hear the words of God, rightly divided. You see water where there is no water.

  18. David Barnes says:

Yes, I read your letters, and have concluded that you are unable to rightly divide the word of truth.

  19. David Barnes says:

I shook the water out of my ears years ago.
Answer my question; since you do not follow the bible as your guide to salvation, what do you follow?

  20. David Barnes says:

I gave you the link to his FB page, did you not check it out?

  21. Bro. Ray McIntire says:

You seem to have water in your ears. Did you read my post on Acts 2:38. Check it out. Who is your friend that wants to debate?

  22. David Barnes says:

There is a whole lot of error in the above articles, it make me wonder what your game is and why you play it. There is so many scriptures concerning baptism, yet you focus on only one, you raise suspicion of your motives. Your handling of the truth is faulty at best, Acts 1 we see that the apostles were given the powers of the Spirit to make disciples of nations, in the next chapter, we see the very first documented, apostolic sermon to convert the Jews to Christianity.

Matthew 16:18 Jesus tells of only one church, the same church that we read of in Ephesians 4:4, the church called by name in Romans 16:16 and Ephesians 3:14,15. The same church that shall prevail forever, the same church that will be raised 1 Corinthians 15:24. The church of Christ!

I am uncertain as to how you believe that a man can come to God and be redeemed by him without believing, confessing, repentance, and baptism.Do you have a revelation that rest of us do not have? Do you have a secret prayer that is not found in the plenary word? I believe that you are no different than the serpent in Genesis 3:1,4.

I would much appreciate your comments on the following scriptures. By the way a friend of mine would be very interested in a public debate on any or all of these issues. https://www.facebook.com/answeringreligiouserror/

    Acts 22:16
    Mark 16:16
    1 Corinthians 15:1-4
    2 Thessalonians 1:8
    Galatians 3:27
    1 Corinthians 1:12-17
    Romans 6:1-4
    John 3:1-7

  23. Bro. Ray McIntire says:

NO! The church was founded and blood bought by Jesus Christ and furthermore it not begin in Acts 2:38. In Acts 2:38 we were still in a transitional period between the Old and New Testaments. Read my post on Dispensations listed at the top for more info. Hope this helps you recover yourself out of the snare of the devil.

  24. Bro. Ray McIntire says:

Here is an in depth answer to some of the heresies that circulate around Acts 2:38. You are defending the Churches of Christ but sound eerily like a Roman Catholic. Hope the following is eye salve for your blinded eyes. God Bless.

ACTS 2:38 Come Let Me Show You the Words of the Lord!

Posted on April 26, 2013 by Bro. Ray McIntire

Misinterpreting Acts 2:38 has landed more people in hell, perhaps, than the any other single verse in the Bible. Find yourself a “so-called Christian” heretic and there is a good possibility that he or she has built their heresy while doing the backstroke in Acts 2:38. All the soaking wet theologians, including the Church of Christ cult, the Roman Catholic cult, plus the Oneness Pentecostal cults and others lose their spiritual sense when reading this one verse in Acts chapter two. Pentecostals/charismatics stumble and fall flat on their faces in Acts 2:1-21, and the situation gets much worse when they stagger up to Acts 2:38. All of the soaking wet cults climb as high as they can on the tower of unbelief before jumping off yelling Acts 2:38, and then do a belly smacker into an eternal lake of fire! But Ezekiel3 has good news! We will attempt to drain the baptistery on the Pentecostals, shove the Church of Christ into a dry creek bed, and shut the sprinkler system off on the Roman Catholic Church as we study in the AV1611 Holy Bible.

You can go to hell soaking wet and if you depend on Acts 2:38. Do not and I repeat do not be surprised if you find yourself clothed in filthy rags (although soaking wet) at the White Throne Judgement while screaming in a self-righteous voice, “What about Acts 2:38?”. Well what about it, lets continue, shall we?

    PART ONE

I’m going to prove to you with scripture that a person can be baptized and still go to hell just like all Roman Catholics, the Campbellite, and Oneness Pentecostals/Charismatics who depend on the “good work” of baptism to save them. Scripture records the account of a man who healed the sick and cast out devils and was baptized who did not make it to heaven, but instead wound up in the Bottomless Pit. Then it is recorded in scripture that this same man repented himself and wound up in the Bottomless Pit. Don’t forget all this happened in spite of him being baptized. Do you not realize that a man can cast out devils, heal the sick and be baptized and still go to hell? You say I do not believe that could happen under any circumstances. Is that so? Read Matthew 10:1, 27:3, and John 6:71. Amen? Come on once more, this time with feeling. AMEN!

    PART TWO

If you read the scripture references in Part One you will notice that Judas did some of the same things that Oneness Pentecostals/Charismatics, Church of Christ, Roman Catholics and others do; including water baptism; all in the name of religion but ended up in the bottomless pit. As the publisher of Ezekiel3 I use a sarcastic yet humorous style of writing to get and keep you as I draw your attention to some devilish false doctrine or heresy that damns mens souls and contributes to the last day’s Laodicean apostasy. It would do everyone reading this post well to follow Jesus commandment in John 5:39 and search the scriptures for in them ye think ye have eternal life. Thinking; ye have eternal life; is the problem that all water regenerationists have. The apostle John told us; that these things scriptures were written that we may know we have eternal life and the life was in Jesus Christ; not water baptism. Even a superfluous reading of Hebrews or Romans would point out to any one that our salvation is dependant on the blood of Jesus Christ and not a bapistry filled with water. I leave you with the following question to ponder. If water could remove the sins of the world, why did Jesus Christ shed his blood on the cross of Calvary?

  25. Anonymous says:

The man on the cross died under the law of Moses. Heb teaches us that a covenant is binding till death, and Jesus was still alive when he forgave his sins. Christ church was founded by Peter Act 2.
Jesus is the word read Jn 1.

  26. Anonymous says:

The man on the cross wasn’t saved as a Christian he was still under the old law. Heb tells us that a covenant is binding till death. Christ still very much alive forgave him of his sins while still under the law of Moses. In fact Peter founded the Church in acts 2.

  27. Anonymous says:

One man next to Jesus on the cross accepted the Lord Jesus and was told he would be in heaven with Him. There was no mention of baptism for this man.

Water is the word of God just ask woman at the well.
