CHRISTIAN ROCK: DRUG OF CHOICE

MENTAL MORPHINE

Hip hop, rap, and rock; “christian and otherwise”; have the power to alter the natural rhythms of our bodies.  Most noticeably the human heart is affected by the loud heavy beat felt in c-rock, c-rap, and hip hop mu-sick.  Exposure to these types of music in church settings as well as concerts have adverse affects on the physical and spiritual well-being of the listeners.

The beat of music found in “new age christianity” crosses up the bodies natural rhythms and causes the heart of the listener to reset its pulse rate to the slower hard beat of the music. This slower heart rate causes a lower oxygen level thus creating a weird satanic high and limits the individual’s ability to reason.  The listener now suffering from a lack of oxygen has little or no ability to hear the words of God or determine if the message being preached is line upon line and precept upon precept.

Satanic “christian rock and rap”music is as habit-forming as any other drug and releases the same dopamine in the brain.  Have you noticed that the charismatic becomes “drunk in the spirit” usually during and immediately after exposure to loud music with a heavy irregular beat?  The wicked “laughing spirit phenomenon”; is usually accompanied by a rock music cleverly disguised as praise and worship.

Jesus Christ strongly encourages us to avoid deception with this warning and command, “Be not deceived.”, but this has not stopped nationally known ministries and local churches from welcoming rock, rap, and hip hop into their services. This dangerous music can now be found in charismatic, Pentecostal, Baptist and other churches in almost every community.

Rock music found at “christian concerts” and church “praise and worship services” produces an emotional high that resembles a religious experience.  This religious experience is often mistaken for being born again!  This phenomenon happens regularly at church services and  christian concerts where the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is never mentioned.  The same emotional high is also obtained through “christian music” that does not mention the blood atonement or the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Drugs create a need that nothing else can satisfy.  Likewise “christian” rock creates a need that genuine New Testament Biblical church services and preaching cannot satisfy.  Charismatic and Pentecostal preachers seem unable to preach unless there is a prelude of music with a hard-driving beat to whip the congregation and themselves into a religious emotional frenzy.  Fake healings and miracles,  gifts of “a” spirit,  modern false apostles and other new age christian lies are  often accompanied by the hard-driving beat of a rock music frenzy.

Rock, rap, and hip hop music is not a Christian ministry and only produces a pseudo religious experience!!  Jesus commanded us to go into all the world and teach all nations, not reach them with music.  We are commanded to preach the gospel, not play and sing to them.  Spurgeon, Moody, Sunday, Ham and a host of gospel preaching, Bible believing preachers ran the race for our Lord without any form of rock or rap music.  Modern “christian” mu-SICK is mental morphine that numbs the minds and hearts of those needing Godly conviction of sin.

You are boring me and my readers. Think and study before you speak about things you do not know.

  2. amigodana says:

    And again you are way off! You did not answer whatsoever from the scriptures concerning WHO Jesus is? For you again did not go to the scriptures; Let me help you AGAIN, God did give us a better answer as too WHO the Son is than, “And we believe and are sure that thou art Christ, the Son of the living God. John 6:69″ ;

    Let me HELP you;

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

1Jn 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
1Jn 5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
1Jn 5:9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

Joh 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Jesus is the Word of God, God himself (trinity). Hence the reason we believe in ONE true Word (one begotten Son / One Way, One Truth).

Grow up Ray, your condemnations of others our not a witness to your own righteousness. Sometimes I think that you forget so many scriptures that I would be at a loss as to where to start. You Need to study a little more! His Word, Not some man’s!

But, I am thinking that that is Gods intentions for us concerning this debate, to study His Word more.

The ball is in your court Ray,

  3. Bro. Ray McIntire says:

WHO DO YOU SAY THAT JESUS, THE SON OF GOD, THE SON OF MAN, THE CHRIST IS?
Please, don’t simply just parrot what Peter says; Define who Christ is, in the scriptures, according to scriptures!

OK, let me answer your inquiry to the scripture you listed above and your request for a definition. How else can I define Christ but through the scriptures? All you, me, or anyone knows about Jesus Christ is in the scriptures (AV1611 of course). I must stay true to the scriptures. The scriptures say “What think ye of Christ? whose son is he?” and I answer according to the scriptures because there is no higher authority, “And we believe and are sure that thou art Christ, the Son of the living God. John 6:69” I can do no better than that because God couldn’t give me any better answer. The difference between myself and many of my readers such as you is that I don’t care what you or anyone else thinks the Bible teaches, I only care what IT SAYS. I fear for you that you wrest the scriptures to your own destruction. Can you tell me how to be saved. Waiting. If you are confused check my post on salvation.

  4. amigodana says:

    Ray I want to ask you a very serious and sincere question. In fact it is a question straight out of the bible that Jesus himself asks. For the Scriptures say;

1Pe 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

So, “be ready to ALWAYS give an answer to EVERY man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with MEEKNESS and FEAR”.

Can you do that, Ray? Answer with MEEKNESS and Fear!

Mat 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

Mar 8:27 And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?

Luk 9:20 He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

WHO DO YOU SAY THAT JESUS, THE SON OF GOD, THE SON OF MAN, THE CHRIST IS?

Please, don’t simply just parrot what Peter says; Define who Christ is, in the scriptures, according to scriptures!

You are constantly berating and being sarcastic with people, believing that when they either get frustrated or upset because of their human passions that it only justifies your righteousness.

Proverbs 18:2 A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.

  5. Bro. Ray McIntire says:

Surely you jest. My entire blog is defending truth and lifting up Jesus. Log on an use the search engines at the left or top right to see what I believe. Type in any word and read what I have written concerning it. Get back to me on my not being interested in truth or Jesus Christ. Duh!

  6. amigodana says:

Now Ray that is exactly why you cannot have healthy conversations. you delete posts that are relevant to a conversation. I really just dont believe that you are interested in truth or Jesus.

Proverbs 14:16 A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.

Proverbs 29:9 If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.

Proverbs 18:2 A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.

Proverbs 15:5 A fool despiseth his father’s instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.

  7. amigodana says:

Be specific! Is it the tone, the tempo, or the instruments that make you sick ?

If we compare the words to scripture it seems to me that it some what agrees, not perfectly, though. So can you show me the contradictions in the scripture?

Isa 2:22 Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?

So when it says “i answer to no man, only the lord” it is agreeing.

Can you show me otherwise? And lets please stick to the final authority ” The King James Bible”, not your words or opinions.

I’m guessing it’s because he’s been listening to Amy Grant or something. Did you ever hear her albums in the 80’s? I’m still surprised that I didn’t end up doing drugs or something- her music was everywhere.

  9. James Quinn says:

Oh, my. I just listened to that song and I feel physically sick to my stomach.

  10. dave says:

Oh so typically lead boring life. And what does a beard have to do with being spiritual, Whatever floats your boat.

  13. RobM says:

Back off. Don’t steal Larry’s and my idea to make some honest money. We’re saving up for a pipe organ so we can start a real church where God would actually go.

I’m not angry at all, Ray. I’m amused.

  22. h.gual says:

I heard some “rap” “hip-hop” music once accidentally in a grocery store. Let me say I have never felt my mind so numbed by music since I was once trapped in a lift and forced to listen to elevator music for an hour. By the time I got out of the store I could hardly remember what the KJV was, my shirt was on backwards (embarrassing), I had purchased alcoholic beverages, and I was thinking of starting a blog. If I had been in there much longer I would have probably been slobbering and scratching the walls like King David when he was in a Philistine city. Needless to say I have never entered that store again.

I think your point regarding Spurgeon is an excellent one. He absolutely did not use rock music in worship. I’m glad too, because that would mean that he used time travel, which of course would be ridiculous, because anyone in the modern era who noticed his beard or strange way of speaking would have freaked out and we’d have heard about it in the news. Plus time travel cannot be found in the KJV (to my knowledge) and the Back to the Future movies are pagan entertainment (which also use rock music, or so a friend told me).

The fact is that the presence of emotions in worship is bad and frankly I try to avoid emotions at all costs, except for emotions of indignance, hatred for certain music styles, and the sort of weird giddy feeling I get when people use the words “KJV” “baptist” or “haymen brother.”

  23. Jimmie says:

You should print T shirts that say “THE ROCK IS A CROCK”. You could make a FORTUNE.

  24. Jimmie says:

Let’s see what Scripture says, shall we? From Psalm 150: Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals!

Doesn’t sound like there’s any percussive restrictions when worshipping God.

Also, please don’t twist the words of Jesus. It’s not cool to take one sentence that Jesus uttered and imply that He’s backing you up on your internet rant fest.

Oh, and then the science stuff. You said a lot of science-y sounding things, but had not a single citation to support your thesis. What’s up with that? Do you have a p.h.d? Even doctors use citations.

I’m not a huge fan of “Christian” music, but I bet you’re the only person on earth who hates it as much as satan does.

    1611-only: That’s funny. Bro. Ray

  26. 1611 - only says:

brother can you help me out i am confused cuz my pastor sayts no dancing but it brings my heart rate up and leaves me more able to receivering the good teachings of the word from the AV. What is more a sinning the dancing or the rock music cuz im confused.

  27. 1611 - only says:

Since this rock music deprived us of oxygen trueborn agains should eexercise while listening to the preaching of the AV to raise their Heart rate and increasing the oxygen flow. Only then can true discernment Take place thanks brother.

  28. dave says:

I understand your concerns, however, ALL types of music have the potential to alter the rhythms of our bodies. And, in charismatic meetings, it is repetitive music with a steady beat (normally quite soft and gentle) that tends to hypnotise people and cause the weird manifestations.

  29. Thanks for an informative article about the dangers of Christian rock and rap. I will share this with all my friends. Again, many thanks. Jordan

  30. Larry McCune says:

I have said it once I will say it again THE ROCK IS A CROCK. Running on feeling instead of faith is[very dangerous doctrine}..I rejoice I don’t worship worship, but I worship Jesus in Spirit and in Truth…Great article Ray
