Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. I am a debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians: both to the wise and to the unwise. So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. Romans 1: 13-15
Ignorant in verse thirteen is the possible ongoing status of the brethren if Paul had not written them, BUT take out the comma that separates ignorant and brethren and ignorant turns into an adjective describing the brethren . What a difference a comma can make. Men should be careful about messing with that King James Bible! The AV1611 has every jot and tittle accounted for as Jesus prophesied would happen. If the AV1611 has all the words, jots, and tittles; and it does; it would stand to reason that any other perversion of the scriptures would have to add or take away from God’s words. Selah that, and get back to me about that when you have an intelligent response.
Paul in another place in scripture exhorted us to follow Jesus as he followed Jesus. Here in verse fourteen we see that Paul has a burden for the lost souls of the wise and unwise. In verse fifteen he is ready to preach to another group; the Romans: and we should be just as willing to preach to whoever, wherever and whenever we can find a lost soul or a Christian in need of reproof, a rebuke, or an exhortation.
