Ministerial fellowships are held together by C-O-M-P-R-O-M-I-S-E. Those who join are not expected to stand for anything other than compromise. Preachers who join ministerial fellowships fail to stand for anything and compromise on everything by associating with heretics (baby sprinklers, Roman Catholics, those who work their way to heaven). Scripture asks the question, “How can two walk together, except they be agreed”? Could I ask a few questions of my own? Thank you, I will.
How does a man (probably a Baptist) join a group where he is the only one that believes salvation is by faith, and not by works?
Why does a man (probably a Baptist) join a group where much if not all of the membership believes in baptismal regeneration?
What profit would there be for a man (probably a Baptist) to join with those who compromise with the Roman Catholic Church on matters of faith and practice?
Can you imagine how much of a distraction someone like myself who is a blood bought, born again, AV1611 Bible believing, Jesus loving Christian would be to my local ecumenical ministerial association? Can any one out there give Biblical reasons for joining a ministerial association? Comment session is open.
